A CITY OF LOVE, LUST & DUST

DELHI

I stepped down on a land

Hazy sky with Mob all round

Metro, sky scarper, flyover, cross roads

I can’t take my eyes off 

As time passes by, Become known

Death dives herein a deep ditch

Found some with much of goodness

Most of them were nasty

Beggars and rich

Mixture of miseries

Under the moonlight, on the streets

Gleam all round

Its dark inside

People are minded

They play safe

They came with ambitions & hope

All they had left here with 

Greed in their eyes 

Lust in their pants

Gelt in their wallets

Empty palms

All they are trying,

Is to feed their families

And filling up the unending desires

Behind Dream & Desire

All they do is cheat & lie

Some people tried really hard

To achieve what they had

In their saucy mind & spark in their eyes

People are fucked

They think knowledge never comes so easy

They believe if you'll give some, others take it all

They afraid of thriving on others

I just learned if you want some

Grasp and snatch

No one cares 

What you living for

All they tried to surpass you

And teach how to live?

All day long

They just try to let your feet sway

So can they preserve their public persona?

I can see love

I can feel pain

When sun comes, it flares the ground 

faces all round

The city is beautiful under the blurred stars

I can remember every bit of it

Technology over ruled

wonder on their existence

Its religion & communism

Which shows stream of blood

At roads, at people faces

Still in doubt

Is this the most developed city of our country?

Is it the Capital?

The capital of INDIA!!!
